The Pi Plus Duo comprises of Jan Sham Brouwer, a Viola player and pianist Apurva Devarajan. They formed a duo to highlights the repertoire of how these instruments come together. If you are in search for an evening of mellow music, then this will delight you for sure.

Parekh & Singh and Bjorn Surrao Live

First, there is this group from Calcutta. The indie music scene in India is going gaga over Parekh & Singh and for the right reasons; their music feels something that is straight out of a Wes Anderson film. Second on the roster is Bjorn Surrao, one-half of alternative electro rock band Franks Got The Funk, but it 2017 and he is moved from being in a band to planting a solo career. Expect a lot for this evening.

Dastan Dhaai Aakhar Ki

Dastan Dhaai Aakhar Ki is a dastangoi by Ankit Chadha—writer and storyteller. The narrative is based on historical research and folk lore around the 14th-century Bhakti poet Kabir. This performance will take you on a journey in search of finding the Kabir within you.

Mame Khan’s Rock ‘n’ Roots Project

Rock ‘n’ Roots Project is all about mixing old and the new, crossing musical genres and giving the roots of Rajasthani folk music a modern twist. Mame Khan’s voice will be paired with some of the best folk artists of Rajasthan and special guest artists backing them on stage too.

Hardwire Metal Festival

Finally, something the heavy metal community in Bangalore can look up to. Hardwire Metal Festival is not just a metal music festival it’s a unique platform to plummet the genre and give it the platform it deserves. Interesting, the festival is owned and promoted by death/thrash metal band, Inner Sanctum. The festival will see metal outfits like Psycroptic, Inner Sanctum, Godless and Fragarak.

Mana D & The Sylvester Trio Live

First on the list is city-based outfit The Sylvester Trio. The trio was born in Taaqademy (music school) and since the entire band members loved genres like rock, funk, jazz, and the blues, they thought this maybe a good reason to come together. Of course, they don’t intend on letting this limit their music in any which way.

On the other hand, musician Mana Dhanraj’s musical journey began at the age of two when her father would play her some jazz tunes. He encouraged her to hone her vocal abilities too. Months turned into years and a father’s touch sparked a lifelong commitment to jazz music. Go watch them bring the house down.
