This quaint European restaurant might also be a good place to visit this Christmas. The ambiance is great, the food hits the spot, and they have a special menu too. Think items like the Roasted Pumpkin Soup with spiced pumpkin seeds, zucchini, carrot and white beans, or dig into a salad of Sautéed Warm Winter Beans with Peanut Sauce— a delightful medley of local Aavarekai beans, sprouted mung beans, valor and pigeon peas. If you are someone who loves a hearty roast, the Braised Lamb Shoulder is perfect, paired with goat cheese potato mash, braised local greens and chimichurri. Another option is (Toast & Tonic’s take) the classic Stuffed Chicken with house-made sourdough stuffing, Brussel sprouts and barley on the side with a Zereshk berry jus.  Vegetarians can feast on the Veg Nutloaf comprising local lentils, walnuts and finished with tomato butter.
