330—A New Restrobar In Indiranagar Where All The Items In The Menu Is Under ₹330

If you are someone who is a bit icky about paying more for less, especially when it comes to food then, you should visit 330, one of the newest restrobars in Indiranagar. And it’s called 330 for a reason—all the items (and by all we mean everything) in the menu is under ₹330! Yup, you read that right. “But, how is it possible?” It’s because owner Harish Lakhiani feels that ‘street food should be affordable.’ In a nutshell, this restrobar serves great global street food at a pocket-friendly price.

The space

When the prices are affordable, the folks at most food spaces try to compromise with the décor, but 330 get a plus one from us as far as the décor is concerned. The spaces look upbeat with its colourful interiors and a comfortable seating area. The interesting thing is the bar has a dualistic vibe—during the day, with natural light peering through it gives a rooftop-‘restaurantesque’ vibe, and it transforms into a 70s pub in the evening. We reached the bar at around 7 pm and we got that old Bangalore kina’ vibe, with dim lights and booming music.

Food and drinks

The first thing we noticed after we were handed the menu was the fact that it focused more on finger food and drinks (they do have a few main course items, but the highlight is the former). The menu here is short and a familiar one with usual suspects like Peri Peri Wings, Wasabi Prawns and more. So, we dug right in.

From the quick bites menu, we ordered items like the Peri Peri Wings, Wasabi Prawns, Falafel, Szechwan Wings, Asian Chicken Flatbread and the Chicken Fajita and all of them had distinct flavours and personalities. Peri Peri Wings, a bomb of a dish, prepped with lemon juice, vinegar, garlic minced, paprika, cayenne pepper, and came with a thick rich sauce. The meat was tender, and it was a flavour riot. Then came the Falafel, which reminded us of a well-made pakora, the Wasabi Prawns was our favourite, it came with prawns doused in wasabi (sauce), white pepper, and sesame seeds, dabbed in rice flour and crispy fried—this one was gone in sixty seconds! The prawn was crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside and the wasabi and pepper added a kick without overpowering the dish. Since we are fans of them Nachos we called for that too.

To add to the whole finger food affair, we ordered the Szechwan Wings, Chicken Fajita and the Asian Chicken Flatbread. The Szechwan Wings is one of the best wings we have eaten in a long time, it was laced with ingredients like soy sauce, sugar, garlic, lemon juice and chilli sauce and it gave out all these flavours in every bite. If you have an appetite then order the Chicken Fajita, spicy pulled chicken, mixed with veggies and wrapped in a tortilla. The dish was blazing with flavours. The last in line was the Asian Chicken Flatbread—an Asian-inspired pizza that came lined with cheese, chicken and vegetables. If you are in the mood for some main course then we suggest you try the Nasi Goreng, their Crock Pot Lasagne and their burgers.

The food was paired with quirky cocktails like Doodh Ka Dhibba—a desi-inspired cocktail that was crafted using a portion of milk tea and rum, it was a bit on the sweeter side, and the rum gave it some woody flavour, but it was balanced well and heady too! (All the cocktails mix 60 ml of spirits, FYI). And it came in what looked like a milk can. Then we were served The Mango Lota—a vodka-based drink that mixed a portion of mango puree had a happy refreshing vibe and the drink was served in a lota! Plus five for the props!

Trashy Tourist, on the other hand, has a delightful, well-balanced mix of whiskey, coffee and caramel, something that might be great for chocolate lovers. If you fancy a drink with desi vibe then ask for the Bantas they have. It’s in the menu under something called Ramune (the original Japanese name for Banta). They have made fizzy drinks more exciting by adding a dash of vodka. We tried the spicy favoured one and it was the bee’s knees. We ended with a well-made mojito.


All the items in the menu are tried and tested items from the world over, so you are safe. What adds to the charm is that it’s reasonably priced and come in good portions—a great spot to go if you are looking for a place to hang, and something that will not burn a hole in your pocket.
